About the Founder
ResumeLance is founded and managed by Alex Soto, who offers:
• Nearly 9 years in the recruitment/career services industry … over 5 years of resume writing experience, including serving as Editor to virtual teams of resume writers.
• Multifaceted writing skills which derive from experience in writing executive bios, executive summaries, white papers, case studies, press releases, SEO-focused Web content, and other types of marketing collateral.
• A Masters degree in Corporate & Public Communications, exposure to PMI project management methodologies, and expertise in Professional Association of Resumes Writers (CPRW) best practices.
For nearly 15 years, Alex Soto has authored business and communications documents in support of IT companies, organizations, and clients, including resumes, cover letters, white papers, Web copy, articles, press releases, sales letters, and marketing communications collateral.
A sample of his recent experiences includes:
• Authoring sales and marketing collateral, including product brochures, email marketing content, and Web copy.
• Providing leadership to a geographically dispersed team of 7 contract writers for a partner company of a leading career website.
• Spearheading the process for resume and cover letter development for high-level executives and mid-level managers working in multiple functions including IT, manufacturing, and finance, among other areas.
• Authoring and editing copy for the Web, executive bios, and product data sheets for a developer of web-based help desk management and IT service management software.
• Collaborating with individuals at all levels including designers, product managers, administrative personnel, and executive decision-makers.
• Defining strategies, pinpointing target market segments, and directing all marketing efforts as an outsourced Director of Marketing for a business process software developer.
